Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and triage Level 2 tickets for an existing application.
  • Perform data fixes and move processes forward.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy application enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Work with multiple teams and interact directly with business users.
  • Create high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions, focusing on backend systems.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing to identify and resolve bugs.
  • Ensure test cases meet design criteria.
  • Produce well-written documentation for each microservice.
  • Adhere to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in full-stack development with Java and React.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with the Spring Boot framework, familiarity with software development design patterns and tools such as Git, Swagger, PCF, and RabbitMQ, expertise in API technologies, including REST Webservices, experience writing unit tests with JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock, working knowledge of quality and security scan technologies like Sonar, Fortify, and WebInspect, knowledge of streaming systems such as Kafka.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IBM BAW is a plus.
