About the role

The new Software Engineer will be on an Agile team supporting two programs with a singular baseline. Will be working in the office executing 2-week Sprints for 3-month increment deliveries. Your focus will be on troubleshooting production issues, performance tuning, and refactor legacy components.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Level 5: Bachelor’s degree in science with 12+ years of software development experience; 10+ years with a Master's; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Requires an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at time of application.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • 5+ years professional Java development experience.
  • Firm understanding of version control using Git and workflows on platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
  • Demonstrated success with Agile processes.
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented design, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

Qualifications

  • CompTIA Security+ Certification.
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts.
  • Familiarity with Docker containers.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms.

Skills

  • RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Java development experience.
  • Version control using Git.
  • Agile processes.
  • Object-oriented design, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

Benefits

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $177,000.00 - $265,600.00

Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
