About the role
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java 8+/11+, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Build responsive front-end interfaces using ReactJS or Angular. Design, deploy, and support cloud solutions using key AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM). Manage data across SQL/NoSQL databases and implement event-driven processing using Kafka. Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Partner with business, technology, and banking stakeholders to ensure delivery quality, working onsite five days a week.
Work and Technical Experience
Must-Have Skill Set
- Java 8+/11+, Spring Boot, Microservices REST APIs, Hibernate/JPA
- ReactJS or Angular
- AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, IAM)
- SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB/DynamoDB)
- Git and Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines
- Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration
- Kafka or other messaging platforms
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills for engaging banking and technology stakeholders
Good-to-Have Skill Set
- AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate)
- Experience integrating AI/ML services or APIs
- Banking or Financial Services industry experience
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Exposure to serverless architecture patterns and event-driven design
- Familiarity with enterprise API gateway and security integration patterns
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (master's degree is a plus)
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and DevOps practices
- 5–7 years of hands-on Full Stack Java development experience, including strong AWS cloud services and enterprise application development
