About the role

Senior Java Lead with strong expertise in Java backend development and a passion for hands-on coding and leveraging AI-powered development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and delivery speed. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lake Mary, Florida. No visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive and modern web applications using Angular.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
• Perform hands-on coding, code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools to:
  • Accelerate coding and debugging.
  • Generate unit and integration test cases.
  • Improve documentation and code quality.
  • Assist in refactoring and modernization initiatives.
• Implement secure, scalable, and resilient application architectures.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and DevOps processes.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.

Pay

The base compensation range for this role in Lake Mary, Florida is $106,230 to $145,000. The actual compensation offered may vary based on factors such as geographic location, education, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, market considerations, and internal pay equity. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions.
