Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based enterprise applications
- Build and support backend services using Java 8+ and Spring Boot
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and development teams
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions
- Integrate applications with databases, messaging systems, and third-party services
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Participate in system design and architecture discussions
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of professional experience in Java development
- Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Strong knowledge of Hibernate / JPA
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle)
- Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and JVM performance
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Experience working in enterprise or regulated industries
- Relevant Java or cloud certifications
