About the role

Software Engineer position within IT Product team responsible for full cycle systems development activities including software design, development, and deployment activities to launch new systems and enhance existing systems. This position is also expected to participate in integration and systems testing.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle systems development including software design, development, and deployment to launch new systems and enhance existing systems
• Participate in integration and systems testing
• Work on all aspects of the MLOps cycle (data extraction, analysis, model training, deployment, re-training)
• Formulate new use cases with good business understanding
• Handle code merges for all developers and resolve merge conflicts using Git (GitHub)
• Integrate tools like GCS, BigQuery and DataFlow into existing workflows
• Configure infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines using Terraform

Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive IT experience with minimum 2 years of experience in Primary technical skills (Angular and Spring Boot)
• Hands on experience using full stack Java technologies
• Experience with software delivery tools (GitHub, Jenkins)
• Experience developing in both software tiers - front-end, back end and database queries
• Experience integration planning and deliverables (Webservices, API, etc.)
• Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE platform integration using REST APIs, including API design, consumption, authentication, data exchange, and integration troubleshooting
• Knowledge and experience using Agile methodology
• Knowledge of Python and packages like pandas, numpy, scipy, TensorFlow, scikit-learn is a must
• Proficient with Git (GitHub), handle code merges for all developers and be able to resolve merge conflicts
• Aware of Docker/Kubernetes for containerization of applications, and Jenkins/Tekton to create pipelines
• Some expertise with working on GCP and able to integrate tools like GCS, BigQuery and DataFlow into existing workflows
• Aware of configuring infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines using Terraform
• Bachelor's Degree

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) platform and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) will be considered a plus
• Hacker Rank Coding Test experience
• Experience working in cross functional global team environment
• Demonstrated ability to deliver product roadmap milestones
• Strong written, verbal communication and collaboration skills
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
• Master's Degree preferred
