Java Developer

About the role

The Java Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using Java technologies. This position requires a strong foundation in full-stack development, REST APIs, Object-Relational Mapping (ORM), and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements to existing applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure application quality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in Java development.
• Experience with full-stack development, REST APIs, ORM, and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.

Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Docker is preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
