Java Developer

About the role

The Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using Java technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications in a team environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, quality assurance, and other developers to design and implement new features.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall codebase quality.
• Follow coding standards and best practices to ensure maintainability and scalability of the applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 7 years of professional experience as a Java developer.
• Experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Proficiency in Java 8 and above.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of RESTful services and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
