About the Opportunity

The Java Developer role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting child support systems throughout the software development lifecycle. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality enterprise applications by collaborating with project teams and ensuring solutions meet required standards and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support software across the full development lifecycle for child support systems
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver enterprise applications on time
• Plan and estimate development tasks
• Translate requirements into maintainable enterprise solutions
• Perform detailed application design
• Provide leadership to team members to meet quality and schedule goals
• Cookordination and manage production issues
• Work with Production Support teams to ensure clear communication
• Utilize strong analytical and diagnostic skills in SDLC processes, configuration management, environment setup, and migration activities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Java technologies
• Experience in database-driven, multi-tier software development
• Experience with at least two major databases, preferably Oracle and MS SQL Server
• Proficient in Java 11, JPA, Apache, Tomcat, Eclipse, Maven, Ant Builds, Bamboo
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC Rest, Spring Cloud, Jasper Reports
• Familiarity with Jira, Bit Bucket, Bamboo, Artifactory, Gradle, Dockers, Flyway
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, JavaScript, and Angular
• Experience implementing Microservices with Spring Boot and deploying on Kubernetes as Docker images
• Experience consuming and publishing SOAP and RESTful web services
• Skilled in writing complex queries for Oracle and SQL Server
• Proficient in Linux commands and Shell scripting
• Able to design end-to-end solutions
• Strong object-oriented analysis, design, and programming skills
• Familiarity with latest software development lifecycle methodologies
• Good interpersonal skills for interaction with project managers, clients, and colleagues
• Preferred: Knowledge of child support payments processing domain

Pay Range and Compensation Package

The estimated salary range is $72,611 to $94,300. The position may be eligible for bonus or incentive based on business needs. Compensation varies based on location, experience, and performance.
