Java Developer

About the role

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a diverse environment and be able to multitask many work streams at once. This associate will mentor junior staff and have been able to take 100% ownership of tasks assigned.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full life cycle of agile or waterfall projects by designing and developing user interfaces and applications.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure high quality bug-free code.
• Decompose business and system architecture to support clean-interface multi-team development.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the business problem statement, user stories, and technical constraints.
• Public Trust clearance required.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with J2EE, Apache Struts2 framework, Spring Framework, jQuery JavaScript, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Java Development Kit, Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, JSP, Microsoft SQL Server, jQuery, Bootstrap, Windows Server, SiteMinder, WebSphere, Maven, Git/Bitbucket, J2EE security, CI/CD.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience with React or Angular.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience with two or more of the following frameworks/technologies: JPA/Hibernate, SOA and web service technologies, Struts framework, Spring Framework, and web development (HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS, Custom Tags).
• Experience in creating design/technical documentation.
• Experience in different application servers.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology and tools (such as Version One, Rally, or JIRA).
• Extensive knowledge of UX principles, design patterns, application and integration architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of relevant work experience.

Skills

• Azure Cloud certification desired.
