Java Backend Engineer (Onsite Hybrid)

About the role

NTT DATA is seeking a Java Backend Engineer (Onsite Hybrid) to join our team in Merrimack, New Hampshire (US-NH), United States (US).

Responsibilities

• Build scalable web applications using full stack Java programming
• Work with public Cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Build and consume REST API based integration and microservices architecture
• Develop applications working with databases like Oracle, Postgres
• Implement CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins
• Test applications using jUnit, Cucumber, Selenium
• Design and develop applications in microservices architecture

Requirements

• 10+ years of demonstrable experience in full stack Java programming
• 6+ years of experience with Java Spring based frameworks and libraries, preferably Spring Boot
• 5+ years of experience working with public Cloud and Cloud based technologies with Microsoft Azure

Preferred Skills

• Hands on experience working with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka or Service Bus
• Experience with software application testing approaches and tools like jUnit, Cucumber, Selenium
• Experience with Chaos Testing and other SRE practices for building highly resilient cloud based software applications

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Java Spring based frameworks and libraries, preferably Spring Boot

Pay

The starting pay range for this role is $96,800 - $145,200 per annum. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

Schedule

This position is eligible for remote or hybrid work options, but in-office attendance may be required for meetings or events, depending on business needs.
