Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 21.
- Build scalable services to monitor application health, server status, process execution, and infrastructure metrics.
- Develop APIs consumed by the Front-End UI team.
- Integrate with scheduling and monitoring tools such as AutoSys and existing enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with Front-End developers, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Production Support teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support when required.
- Optimize application performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer science, Engineering, Finance or Quantitative finance
- 5+ years of Java development experience
- Strong expertise with Java 21
- Experience developing backend services and REST APIs
- Strong Linux knowledge
- Experience with multithreading and concurrent programming
- Solid understanding of distributed systems
- Experience with Git and Agile methodologies
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with monitoring or observability platforms
- Familiarity with AutoSys or enterprise scheduling tools
- Experience with application health monitoring
- Exposure to KDB (not required)
- Python scripting experience
- Financial Services experience is a plus
