Java Azure Architect

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Java applications on Azure, leveraging Azure services to build scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and Azure services.
• Design and implement cloud-native architectures using Java, Spring ecosystem, and Azure cloud services.
• Establish and enforce architecture patterns, coding standards, and best practices across development teams.
• Create detailed architecture artifacts such as solution diagrams, data flow diagrams, integration patterns, and deployment models.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Java Architect on large-scale enterprise modernization programs.
• Experience with Azure Services, including but not limited to Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Experience with cloud-native design patterns, scalability, resiliency, and security.
• Experience with hybrid and phased migration strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API using Java.
• Experience defining target-state architectures using Java, Spring ecosystem, and Azure cloud services.
• Experience creating detailed architecture artifacts including solution diagrams, data flow diagrams, integration patterns, and deployment models.
