This role involves contributing to a migration and modernization journey, designing products, owning the design end-to-end, building applications, and participating in testing activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop code that conforms to design, addresses non-functional requirements, and complies with coding standards and conventions.
- Create detailed unit test cases, perform unit testing, integration testing, support QA and user acceptance testing, and address ad hoc user queries.
- Practice test-driven development, automated testing, and continuous integration.
- Actively participate in peer review sessions by evaluating code quality, ensuring adherence to best practices, identifying defects, and providing constructive, actionable feedback.
- Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes (e.g., AI-assisted code review/refactoring, test strategy acceleration, incident/root-cause analysis support). Establish consistent validation standards (secure coding, peer review, automated testing) and promote reuse of effective patterns.
- Apply knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve automation value.
- Mentor and support junior developers by offering technical guidance, conducting knowledge-sharing sessions, reviewing their work, and fostering skill development.
- Analyze programs and troubleshoot production issues. Identify potential performance tuning improvement areas and implement tuning measures.
- Collaborate with regional and global team members from other regions.
