About the Role

Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native healthcare imaging platforms on AWS, focusing on interoperability, DevOps, and AI-assisted engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and technical direction for healthcare imaging platforms leveraging AWS, Java (Quarkus), and DICOM/DICOMWeb standards.
• Define end-to-end architecture for cloud-native imaging solutions on AWS.
• Design and implement DICOM/DICOMWeb APIs (QIDO, WADO, STOW).
• Lead solutioning for imaging workflows, metadata, and interoperability.
• Evaluate and integrate AWS services including ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, IAM.
• Establish DevOps and engineering best practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot / Claude) to improve productivity and code quality.
• Strong experience in AWS architecture (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, IAM).
• Expertise in Java + Quarkus / Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of DICOM and DICOMWeb APIs.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Hands-on with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience or exposure to AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Focus on quality, performance, and security.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
• Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.

Mandatory Skills

• 12+ years overall, 3-5 years in architecture roles.
• Own architecture and technical direction for healthcare imaging platforms leveraging AWS, Java (Quarkus), and DICOM/DICOMWeb standards.
