Role Description Title: Java Architect Location: Albany, New York (Hybrid) Need Candiadet with Java, Spring Boot OCPMQ Senior Lead Responsibilities Lead per SYS ID deep dive assessments 15 SYS IDs across Sprints 24 Design L2 sequence diagrams and dataflow diagrams for all Tier 1 SYS IDs Define IBM MQ RDQM queue topology and message ordering per business process Design current state to target state transition architecture per SYS ID Lead Oracle AQ IBM MQ RDQM near term Confluent Kafka long term migration patterns Define service boundaries per SYS ID where refactoring is recommended Assess Spring Boot application migration path for each Java engine Document Autosys batch job inventory per SYS ID and validate lift and shift approach on EC2 Create current state and target state comparison diagrams Define OCP deployment architecture pod sizing resource quotas namespace strategy Skillset Required 8 years Java Spring Boot development and architecture Production experience with IBM MQ and message driven middleware OpenShift Container Platform expertise selfmanaged not ROSA Confluent Kafka architecture for long term transition planning Event driven patterns pubsub request reply Saga Oracle to PostgreSQL migration understanding Autosys job scheduling knowledge Key Deliverables Primary Owner Per SYS ID Current State Architecture Documentation L2 Deep Design Target Flows sequence diagrams data flows Current Target State Comparison Diagrams Autosys Job Inventory Lift and Shift Validation Other Details Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
