Java API Testing with AI

About the role

Java API Testing with AI - W2 Contract only. Location: Sunnyvale, CA - Onsite. Wipro/Apple Ex-Apple.

Responsibilities

• Deep expertise in Java-based REST API automation testing.
• Hands-on experience writing and executing tests with Cucumber (BDD Frameworks).
• Proven ability to mentor peers and lead testing initiatives independently.
• Sharp bug analysis and log investigation skills (Splunk Analysis, Dashboard creation).
• Strong track record of being self-dependent in fast-paced environments.
• Solid grasp of functional, regression, and integration testing methodologies.
• Provide hands-on testing support during live production deployments and release windows.
• Maintain composure and clear communication while troubleshooting critical production outages or tight release deadlines.

Requirements

• Advanced, hands-on experience in AI-driven API automation (both design and build).

Qualifications

• Experience designing and running load tests using JMeter.
• Familiarity building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins.
• Experience calculating code coverage using JaCoCo to identify testing gaps in Java applications.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (Kube), Docker, and cloud microservices environments for debugging and log retrieval.

Pay

$50-$55/hour on W2
