Java API Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java 8, Spring Boot, and microservices applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs following REST API design and specifications.
• Implement microservices patterns such as gateway, discovery, config, and sidecar services.
• Experience with internal and/or external cloud implementations on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Integrate Spring with Apache Kafka, AMQP, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Work with RDBMS like DB2 or Postgres.
• Develop web applications using HTML5, React.js, CSS, and web development frameworks like NodeJS, Webpack.
• Apply testing frameworks like JEST, Selenium, Cucumber, and adhere to Test-Driven Development practices.
• Utilize Apigee and understand security aspects including TLS, MTLS, OAuth2, and session management.
• Utilize deployment tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Fortify, Sonar, and BlackDuck.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Java 8, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of REST API design and specifications.
• Experience with microservices patterns like gateway, discovery, config, and sidecar services.
• Experience with internal and/or external cloud implementations on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience integrating Spring with Apache Kafka, AMQP, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.

Pay

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 per year
