About the role
The Japanese Ministry Specialist is responsible for providing expert-level support in all aspects of Japanese language and culture.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on Japanese government policies and practices.
- Prepare reports and presentations on Japanese cultural trends and societal issues.
- Facilitate communication between Japanese officials and international partners.
- Manage translation and interpretation services for official Japanese documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Studies or related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Japanese language and cultural affairs.
- Native or near-native fluency in both Japanese and English.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working with government agencies and diplomatic missions.
- Knowledge of Japanese politics and international relations.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English.
