About the role

The Japanese Ministry Specialist is responsible for providing expert-level support in all aspects of Japanese language and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on Japanese government policies and practices.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on Japanese cultural trends and societal issues.
  • Facilitate communication between Japanese officials and international partners.
  • Manage translation and interpretation services for official Japanese documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Studies or related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Japanese language and cultural affairs.
  • Native or near-native fluency in both Japanese and English.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with government agencies and diplomatic missions.
  • Knowledge of Japanese politics and international relations.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
