Janitorial Supervisor (Supervisor)

Summit Building Services is looking for an experienced supervisor to grow with our team. You will be a dedicated steward of facilities, helping to create a greener, cleaner, and healthier world every day through a shared commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Work with employees to handle all client requests or complaints in a timely manner
• Supervise, train, motivate, and develop team members
• Work with HR to ensure all jobs are properly staffed and trained
• Perform coverage in the event of an employee absence
• Take disciplinary action and/or terminate employees when necessary
• Perform regular inspections of buildings to ensure specifications are being met
• Correct deficiencies in buildings whenever necessary
• Complete work tickets and send reports to Area Manager
• Recommend special project work when needed
• Complete ongoing education to gain competency in your position
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check

Pay

Starting pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

Schedule

30-40 hours per week with a varying schedule, Monday through Saturday, starting after 5pm.

This position reports to the Area Manager and is a full-time role with 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekends required.
