Janitorial Supervisor (Supervisor)

Responsibilities

• Work with employees to handle all client requests or complaints in a timely manner
• Supervise, train, motivate, and develop team members
• Collaborate with HR to ensure all jobs are properly staffed and trained
• Provide coverage in the event of an employee absence
• Administer disciplinary action and/or termination of employees when necessary
• Perform regular inspections of buildings to ensure specifications are being met
• Correct deficiencies in buildings whenever necessary
• Complete work tickets and send reports to the Area Manager
• Recommend special project work when needed
• Complete ongoing education to gain competency in the position
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws

Requirements

• Experience supervising janitorial or similar service teams
• Reliable transportation to travel between client sites from Downtown Cleveland to Madison
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Availability to work 30–40 hours per week with a varying schedule, Monday through Saturday, starting after 5 pm

Pay

Starting pay rate is $19.50 per hour and includes PTO, health insurance, mileage reimbursement, and bonus opportunities.

Schedule

30–40 hours per week with a varying schedule, Monday through Saturday, starting after 5 pm. Includes 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, and weekends.
