Janitorial Supervisor - PM Shift, Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Lead your shift by assisting the manager in ensuring the day’s scope of work is completed.
• Ensure assigned janitorial duties are completed.
• Assist the manager in applying work standards for janitorial employees in accordance with company practices.
• Monitor, measure, and report on performance during the shift.
• Effectively communicate daily assignments and messages from the manager to the janitorial staff.
• Follow guidelines for proper maintenance of all equipment.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ensure health and safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift.
• Address health and safety matters efficiently using company resources.
• Ensure training skills meet current and future demands of the shift.
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
• Respond to customer complaints to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of janitorial experience (required).
• At least 1 year of lead or supervisor experience (preferred).
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with other team members.
• Able to work unsupervised.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Follows direction and asks questions when needed.
• Proficient using computers and MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify is used).
