Janitorial Specialist

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania is a nonprofit organization that funds job training, education, and other community programs by selling donated clothing and household items in Goodwill stores and online. Position Summary

As the Janitorial Specialist, you will be responsible for cleaning all aspects of assigned areas, including public areas, offices, and equipment, to meet standards in order to promote the quality upkeep and appearance of the building and customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash from all assigned areas.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair.
• Maintain assigned equipment in clean, working condition, reporting problems and suggestions to the supervisor.
• Replenish paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in all assigned areas to assure adequate supply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in custodial services preferred.

Pay

External hiring range: $14.00 per hour.
