Janitorial Project Manager
About the role
Develop and implement cost control measures and service-level standards to ensure compliance with customer specifications and contract requirements for assigned buildings. Oversee inspections, quality control, and inventory of equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure services are performed as contracted and at intended profit margins.
- Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns.
- Manage the company’s quality control monitoring and safety programs at assigned buildings.
- Conduct quality-of-service inspections at assigned buildings.
- Increase revenue by identifying opportunities for additional or periodic services.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all federal, state, and local government regulations.
- Maintain complete and accurate paperwork, including terminations, labor variance action plans, and operational models, submitted to the district/hub in a timely manner.
- Analyze and proactively manage both the financial and operational performance of assigned buildings.
- Ensure payroll is accurate, submitted on time, and discrepancies are corrected.
- Provide leadership to Supervisors and Lead personnel assigned to the buildings.
- Direct, coordinate, and evaluate personnel within assigned buildings in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including appraising performance, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and terminating employees.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a service/customer-oriented environment.
- 2+ years of Janitorial, Custodial, or Facilities Management experience preferred.
- Experience in cost estimating/pricing work.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and effectively present information to managers and customers.
Pay
$65,000 – $70,000 annual salary (USD). The specific offer will vary based on education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Eligibility to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program may apply.
