Summary

The porter provides excellent cleaning services, often requiring interaction with the client and prioritizing work according to their daily needs. This position requires working at high-traffic sites or as an individual team member on site, where daily interaction with the client and attention to related requests, within the scope of work, are critical. The porter works directly with the client daily and maintains excellent client relationships while executing client requests and fulfilling daily cleaning tasks. The Porter has extensive knowledge of cleaning and janitorial processes.

• Lead and provide solutions to various problems
• Perform other responsibilities as directed by the manager

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move containers up to 49 pounds
• Walk within and around the facility with high frequency throughout the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10 to 12 hours
• Ability to carry out detailed or written instructions
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical safe handling sheets/documents (generally in English; may have them in Spanish when required by state)
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients
• Background check and drug test required

Pay

Starting salary: $19.0 per hour
