Janitorial Porter

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent cleaning services, often requiring interaction with customers and prioritizing work based on customer needs.
• Work in high-volume and heavy traffic sites, or as an onsite individual crew member, ensuring successful daily customer interaction and fulfillment of related requests.
• Maintain excellent customer relations while executing janitorial duties and providing solutions to various problems.
• Have a broad knowledge of cleaning and janitorial processes and excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

• Able to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds and walk frequently throughout the shift.
• Able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Able to carry out detailed or written instructions.
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and chemical handling sheets.
• Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
