Janitorial District Manager

Pay: $120K/YR, based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company standards are met in compliance with operations and servicing contractual obligations to customers within specified labor and expense budgets.
• Review daily labor for assigned district and educate supervisors on payroll procedures.
• Adhere to and enforce established company policies, ensuring assigned subordinates do likewise.
• Contact customers as needed to ensure services meet contract requirements and maintain customer retention.
• Apply proper personnel management skills to resolve issues with employees and supervisors.
• Administer positive recognition and disciplinary action, and train subordinates as needed.
• Support branch safety coordinators in safety program follow-through to ensure compliance with all safety policies.
• Ensure company policy and safety requirements are properly administered.
• Report accidents involving personnel, vehicles, public liability, property damage, and fidelity claims.
• Assist in district supply systems and ordering supplies, ensuring subordinates maintain proper supply levels within budget.
• Work toward securing sales and maintaining business in line with branch financial goals by managing job budgets and costs.
• Assume responsibility for supervisor vacation and holiday replacement coverage.
• Investigate all work-related accidents immediately (within 24 hours) and thoroughly.
• Assist in reviewing workers' compensation claims relevant to your area of responsibility.
• Understand city, state, and federal laws and regulations affecting company business, including required licenses.
• Assist the Branch Manager in equipment audits and purchasing.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.
