Janitorial District Manager
Pay: $120K/YR, based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data.
Responsibilities
- Ensure company standards are met in compliance with operations and servicing contractual obligations to customers within specified labor and expense budgets.
- Review daily labor for assigned district and educate supervisors on payroll procedures.
- Adhere to and enforce established company policies, ensuring assigned subordinates do likewise.
- Contact customers as needed to ensure services meet contract requirements and maintain customer retention.
- Apply proper personnel management skills to resolve issues with employees and supervisors.
- Administer positive recognition and disciplinary action, and train subordinates as needed.
- Support branch safety coordinators in safety program follow-through to ensure compliance with all safety policies.
- Ensure company policy and safety requirements are properly administered.
- Report accidents involving personnel, vehicles, public liability, property damage, and fidelity claims.
- Assist in district supply systems and ordering supplies, ensuring subordinates maintain proper supply levels within budget.
- Work toward securing sales and maintaining business in line with branch financial goals by managing job budgets and costs.
- Assume responsibility for supervisor vacation and holiday replacement coverage.
- Investigate all work-related accidents immediately (within 24 hours) and thoroughly.
- Assist in reviewing workers' compensation claims relevant to your area of responsibility.
- Understand city, state, and federal laws and regulations affecting company business, including required licenses.
- Assist the Branch Manager in equipment audits and purchasing.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.
