Janitorial Crew Lead

Responsibilities

• Perform crew tasks on-site and ensure all crew tasks are fully executed
• Interact with clients to provide professional, prompt customer service as needed
• Provide direction and task coordination for assigned crew
• Ensure crew members understand and know their responsibilities per each policy
• Collaborate with crew to ensure coordination and successful execution of daily operations; resolve deficiencies promptly
• Assist supervisor or area manager with new hires and training
• Ensure team members have the information and tools to do their jobs effectively; provide clarity and support team member success
• May assist supervisor or area manager with interviews and training
• Motivate the crew; interact regularly with crew members to provide support and clarity; lead by example

Requirements

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environments preferred
• 1–3 years in a leadership/supervisory role
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical safety data sheets (typically in English; may be available in Spanish where required by state)
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions
• Customer-service oriented with a friendly, positive attitude; ability to motivate team members and support client requests in an orderly, timely manner
• Must download and use the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping app on personal mobile device to clock in/out for shifts and breaks (per applicable local law, a cell phone reimbursement is offered to support personal device use for work tasks)

Pay

Starting pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule

Shift: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 7 days per week
