About the role
As a Janitorial Supervisor, you will lead your shift and assist in directing janitorial employees to ensure smooth operations. You will ensure customer satisfaction and target goals are met while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

Various days, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Merritt Island, Florida
Responsibilities
- Assist the site manager to ensure the scope of work is met.
- Supervise the quality of work produced during your shift.
- Effectively communicate work assignments and expectations to team members.
- Assist the site manager in implementing work standards in accordance with company policies and practices.
- Monitor, measure, and report shift performance to the site manager.
- Maintain inventory of supplies in closets and storage sheds, informing the site manager when orders are needed.
- Follow guidelines for proper maintenance of all cleaning equipment.
- Operate floor machines as needed.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety rules and regulations during the shift.
- Train new employees.
- Maintain housekeeping standards for a clean and safe workplace.
- Respond to customer complaints, ensuring proper handling to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the site manager.
Requirements
- 2+ years of janitorial experience, required.
- 1+ year of supervising experience, required.
- Floor care experience is a plus.
- Positive and encouraging attitude.
- Able to work well under minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to follow directions and ask for clarification when appropriate.
- Proficient with computers and familiar with Microsoft 365 products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify is used).
Additional Considerations
- Must maintain regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work overtime, holidays, evenings, or weekends as necessary.
- Able to stand for prolonged periods and walk up to 5 miles per shift.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
