Responsibilities
- Ensure all receptacle containers are clean and have a trash receptacle liner. Replace soiled or torn liners.
- Deposit trash in the government exterior trash collection near the southeast corner of Building #1.
- Clean non-carpeted floors, including sweeping, dust mopping, and damp mopping, ensuring they are free of dirt, debris, and standing water.
- Mop non-carpeted floors weekly and buff them every two weeks to maintain a high gloss shine.
- Ensure non-carpeted areas, especially corners and under furniture, are kept clean and free of dust, water streaks, and debris.
- Stripp, wax, and buff floors once during the contract year, and schedule waxing of individual offices and labs to avoid disrupting scientific research.
- Clean and disinfect all restroom areas, including toilets, sinks, urinals, mirrors, and plumbing fixtures, ensuring they are free of foul odors and unsightly materials.
- Periodically plunge toilets and clean up spills, notifying the LSM if repairs are needed.
- Replenish restroom supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap.
- Perform general spot cleaning in hallways and common areas, addressing smudges, fingerprints, and other stains.
- Report any defective government equipment or property to the LSM and Contracting Officer.
