Janitor On-Call

Responsibilities

• Basic cleaning: floors, stairways, carpets, and mats; remove trash and recyclables; empty and clean public ashtrays and urns; clean interior glass/mirrors; clean drinking fountains; general spot cleaning.
• Classroom set up and table cleaning upon notification.
• Moving lodging room furniture such as mattresses, box springs, bed frames, headboards, small refrigerators, and microwaves.
• Restroom and locker room cleaning including disinfecting, descaling, stocking supplies, and caring for floors.
• Lodging rooms cleaning: replace towels, wash cloths, sheets, and pillowcases; ensure all cabinets and drawers are cleaned and emptied of any items left behind upon checkout.
• In-house laundry service: wash, dry, fold, and package linens and tablecloths for lodging rooms and special events.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Skills

Attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and physical stamina.

$18.50 - $19.50 per hour

Schedule

May be asked to work Day Shift (8:00am - 4:30pm); Mid Shift (6:00pm - 2:30am); or Night Shift (11:30pm - 8:00am).
