About the role

The immediate vacancy is with the Department of Transportation, Airports Division. Shift Work: Applicants must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and participates in keeping assigned buildings and building areas clean and orderly, including heavy lifting, cleaning places and equipment which are not easily accessible, simple building repair work and operating industrial type cleaning equipment;
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Legal Authorization to Work: Must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
• General Experience: Two (2) years of janitorial or related custodial work such as sweeping, dusting and cleaning of buildings.
• Supervisory Aptitude: Possession of Supervisory Aptitude demonstrated through regular or special assignments involving supervisory responsibilities.
• Driver's License: Some positions require a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
