Janitor Floor Tech

Position Overview And Primary Duties And Responsibilities (essential Functions) A Janitor-Floor Tech is responsible for performing floor maintenance duties and custodial services in order to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a safe and sanitary manner. Will perform a full range of floor care maintenance and custodial duties related to the care, maintenance and cleaning of all assigned buildings and facilities with the government contract to include both routine maintenance as well as non-routine assignments. Duties Basic Janitorial duties including, but not limited to sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms Floor care maintenance duties for small and large facilities such as carpet cleaning, stripping and waxing, and spray and buffs Building and floors will be maintained so as to be in compliance with contract standards and present a clean and sightly appearanceOperating floor care machinery and other basic janitorial equipment Maintain equipment and supplyMoving furniture before and after cleaning Follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedulesIndependently work as well as part of a team Regular customer interaction during performance of services May be required to drive to outlying areasOther duties as assigned by direct supervisor and management team Required Qualifications And Experience Must have valid California Drivers License or obtain one before start date. Successfully pass a background investigation for the base. Must have the ability to obtain security clearance and submit all required documents through the government program (E-qip) before start date. Must be able to lift 50lbs Physical stamina Attention to detail Undeterred by exposure to hazardous chemicals, bodily fluids and communicable and infectious disease.Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Completion of on the job training and safety program 9Floor maintenance experience required (preferred two years) Undeterred by exposure to hazardous chemicals, bodily fluids and communicable and infectious disease.Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
