Janitor (Federal Building)

About the role

We are searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic Custodian to provide exceptional cleaning and sanitizing services for commercial or government buildings.

Responsibilities

• Perform hard surface floor care including carpet cleaning, shampoo/extraction, vinyl/tiling treatment, and use of high-speed floor equipment and floor scrubbers.
• Maintain office cleanliness through sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and removing trash/recycling.
• Sanitize office spaces, breakrooms, and restrooms to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in general commercial or government building cleaning, including sanitizing.
• Expertise in hard surface floor care and all-purpose floor cleaning.
• Ability to perform general office cleaning tasks efficiently and professionally.

Pay

$21.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• One weekend per month: Saturday & Sunday, 4 hours each day (rotational holidays)
• As needed, you may be scheduled to work at the Saint Albans, VT facility.
