JANITOR

About the role

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Janitor at Falcon Ridge Ranch and Lava Heights Academy in Utah. Both facilities are residential treatment programs for young women who have experienced abuse, neglect, trauma, substance abuse, mental illness, and violence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of offices, education facility, and residential dormitory
• Clean hard and carpeted floors, walls, doors, windows, and furniture
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Remove garbage
• Launder the clothing and bedding of residents

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2 years of experience in custodial / housekeeping
• Must meet eligibility requirements to be an ROP driver
• Current State Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years
• Pass a criminal background check
• Pass a drug screen
• Pass a physical examination
• Pass a tuberculosis (TB) test
• Pass a search of the child abuse central registry

Qualifications

• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay & Schedule

• $16 per hour
• Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
