Janitor & Custodian - Dock Master

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dock Master to oversee daily dock operations and ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating dock activities, maintaining organization, and supporting smooth operational flow.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash and recycling containers.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Maintain custodial equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Monitor supply levels and request inventory replenishment.
• Respond to cleaning or spill emergencies as needed.

Indoor facility environment; may require occasional outdoor tasks.

Requirements

• Experience with cleaning commercial facilities a plus.
• Must have the ability to work with other crew members.
• Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Schedule

Full Time - Mon - Fri - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
