Janitor
Duties
- Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors
- Removing chips, trash, and other refuse
- Dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures
- Polishing metal fixtures or trimmings
- Providing supplies and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms
Essential Functions
- Carries out cleaning tasks during normal duty hours and/or in the evening
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, empty waste bins and fix minor issues
- Responsible for locking and/or unlocking buildings, depending on schedule
- Resupply or restock restrooms supply, offices, toiletries, soaps, towels and necessary products
- Perform periodic duties, such as waxing floors
- Dust mechanical devices like monitors, desktops, printers and any other devices
- Clean windows, doors, glasses and mirrors
- Adhere to Green Cleaning process
- Communicates routinely with the supervisor
- Professional engages with customers
- Supports the emphasis on safety, environmental compliance, and quality of operations
- Be on duty at the worksite as scheduled
- Timely completion and accuracy of all inspections and work
- Works closely and harmoniously with other employees
- Must be able to multitask
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in quality control and assurance
- Must be able to work on secure military facilities
- Must have current valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass and maintain a DoD background check and pass drug screening tests
