About the Role

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety on the Production Floor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Break Room – Wash off tabletops, empty trash cans, sweep, and mop floors, as needed.
• Route Room – Vacuum rugs on the floor, empty trash cans, wipe off driver’s tabletop, and mop floor, as needed.
• Rest Rooms (Production Area) – Clean sinks, toilets, and urinals, restock all paper and towels in both men’s and women’s restrooms, mop floors, and empty trash cans.
• Uniform Area – Empty trash cans, sweep floors by West wall and other areas, sweep area by small ironer and steam tunnel.
• Production Area – Keep the area clean at all times. Work around employees on the production floor, moving and cleaning under carts when possible. Clean and blowdown after Production is finished for the day. Wait until employees are on breaks and lunches before cleaning in the ironer area.

Requirements

• Ability to effectively complete tasks in an industrial environment.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Ability to safely and effectively operate a tractor and mowing apparatus.
• Must exhibit self-initiative, accountability, and flexibility.

Qualifications

Preferred: High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, or balance, and talk and hear.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Work Environment

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, and vibration.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
