Location: Bangor, Washington • Full Time, Non-Exempt • Graveyard shift (6:00pm – 2:30am)

Pay

$22.61 per hour plus a 4% per hour shift differential.

About the role

Responsibilities

• Follow industrial safety guidelines, apply safety training, and promote a safe workplace culture at all worksites
• Communicate courteously and professionally with customers
• Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and replenish supplies in accordance with contract standards; follow cross-contamination procedures
• Sweep, wet/dry mop, vacuum, and dust offices, halls, high-traffic areas, door entries, stairwells, building entrances/exits, etc.
• Collect and remove trash and recyclables from lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker areas, and office spaces
• Restock supplies daily
• Clean portable showers: clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross-contamination procedures
• Maintain janitor lockers (J-lockers) by cleaning and organizing daily in accordance with EM 385-1-1 requirements
• Clean and rinse all equipment before storing
• Operate wet/dry vacuum for each area according to the schedule
• Change light bulbs as directed
• Lock doors after cleaning
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license with ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance
• REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or acceptable alternative (U.S. passport or military ID) required for access to federal military installations
• Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access
• Background check and E-Verify will be conducted
• Prior janitorial experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time
• Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking
• Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may be required
• Perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods
