Janitor

About the role

Being of service to maintain a clean, safe and well-groomed facility for all guests and team members and to assist with projects both interior and exterior of the building.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including tables, chairs, floors, restrooms, windows, and other areas
• Maintain exterior of building for cleanliness and safety
• Communicate effectively with team members to efficiently complete projects
• Perform duties in a timely manner and remain positive and self-motivated when tasked with new responsibilities
• Notify management of deficiencies, needs, and repairs
• Assist in restroom upkeep
• Support other service personnel as needed
• Perform all duties in accordance with customer service standards and exemplify Core Values
• Maintain general knowledge of Pelican menu items, events, and community involvement to provide information to guests

Requirements

• General knowledge of customer service standards
• Physical endurance to handle heavy machinery and complete tasks
• Positive and self-motivated attitude
• Able to complete tasks independently
• Ability to communicate with team members regarding health, safety, or cleanliness concerns

Pay

$16 hourly wage
