Janitor

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial / Facilities Custodian to support cleanliness and overall upkeep within a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment for production and office areas. Candidates should be team-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and dusting in all areas of the building.
• Maintains floors and shredding paper.
• Maintains and fills all soap dispensers and towel dispensers in rest rooms, as required.
• Removes trash from offices throughout the buildings on a routine basis.
• Cleans all bathrooms, as required.
• Generally maintains grounds.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• CURRENT SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 pm.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements: standing, twisting, walking, grasping, pushing, pulling, and ability to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum of one year of janitorial work experience.
• Strong attention to detail, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and ability to operate cleaning machinery.
• Physical Demands: Ability to occasionally push or exert force up to 50 pounds. Good eyesight and hand dexterity. Ability to stand, walk, bend and reach for extended periods. Industrial manufacturing setting. Exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, oils/solvents, fumes and odors. All work performed within established safety guidelines and PPE Requirements.

Pay

The Pay Range For This Role Is 18 - 20 USD per hour (Banning Facility)
