Responsibilities

• Locker Rooms: Clean and disinfect toilets, shower stalls, and changing areas regularly. Restock all paper goods and soap.
• Gym Floor: Wipe down exercise equipment, glass doors, and mirrors. Pick up debris and address spills immediately.
• MMA Areas: Thoroughly clean all specialized areas, including mats, the Octagon, and heavy bags.
• Floors: Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors, stairwells, and staircases. Shampoo carpets as needed.
• Waste Management: Empty all trash receptacles daily and maintain designated storage areas in good condition.
• Reporting: Immediately notify management of leaks, malfunctioning fixtures, mold, or equipment issues.
• Safety First: Adhere to all safety rules and ensure the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and materials.
• General Upkeep: Assist with general maintenance of the facility and equipment. Provide the Maintenance Technician with aid when needed to PM machines or perform minor repairs to the facility.
• Positive Presence: Maintain a cheerful and helpful attitude toward all members and staff.
• Responsiveness: Respond to member requests quickly and report any complaints or concerns to management right away.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in janitorial or housekeeping services. Background in the hospitality industry is highly recommended.
• Ability to work quickly and independently with extreme attention to detail regarding cleanliness.
• Able to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions in English.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to stand for a full shift and exert up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally to move objects. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.

Qualifications
