Janitor

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, restrooms, warehouse areas, cafeterias, and around production lines during and after operations using steam, water, and cleaning materials.
• Take rubbish and garbage to designated areas using wheeled trucks to move heavy drums of waste.
• Move desks, drums, pallets, etc., in the performance of duties.
• Maintain restroom supplies as required.
• Maintain areas in a clean and safe condition following Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Perform similar duties as assigned by leads and/or supervisor.
• Follow departmental safety rules and conform to all Job Safety Analysis.
• Participate in the annual QRMP audit process and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Available to work all shifts including second, third, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

Starting pay rate: $25.96/hr, plus additional shift premium. Weekly pay.

Schedule

12-hour rotating shifts alternating days and nights, including weekends.

This is an hourly manufacturing position in a union facility represented by UFCW Local 75. The Fremont plant manufactures over 1 billion pounds of ketchup annually and is the world’s largest ketchup factory, producing ketchup, chili sauce, and cocktail sauce.
