Janitor
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
- Emptying trash and recycling
- Surface cleaning and dusting
- Vacuuming
- Washing windows
- Operating the cardboard compactor, floor sweeper, and forklift
- Performing outdoor trash pickup, shoveling sidewalks, and salting during winter months
- Additional cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling practices
- Prior experience operating a forklift (Required)
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, lift, and stand
- Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
