Janitor

Goodwill Kentucky is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, dynamic professional Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will clean common areas and offices as well as maintain fixtures, equipment, and grounds. Responsibilities

• Provides maintenance and custodial services for the buildings, equipment, grounds, and fixtures.
• Demonstrates proficient knowledge of equipment including the location of switches, controls, and valves.
• Maintains floor-care and instructions in areas as assigned.
• Works on a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of maintenance and custodial work; previous experience a plus.
• Ability to read and write.
• Must be able to perform all janitorial tasks on a daily basis.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. or more occasionally.
• Ability to follow instructions, including safety procedures and correct safety issues, if possible.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to sit or stand for an extended period of time.

Pay

$14.00/hour

Schedule

Part-Time, 10AM–2PM, Monday–Friday
