About the role

Fortis Industries is interviewing for a Janitor for our contract in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Clean and keep in an orderly condition working areas and washrooms
• Clean premises of an office and other establishment
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors
• Remove chips, trash, and other refuse
• Dust equipment, furniture, or fixtures
• Polish metal fixtures or trimmings
• Provide supplies
• Perform minor maintenance services
• Clean lavatories, showers, and restrooms
• Disinfect high touch areas (door knobs, desktops, etc.)

Requirements

• Ability to follow directions and comprehend the requirements of the position
• Ability to collaborate with co-workers and the Leadership Team when necessary
• Physical capacity to move, carry, and store various items; clean, dust, and wipe rooms full of furniture; and clean floors and carpets
• Must pass agency and federal background checks
• Must pass Federal drug screen
• Confirmation that you are authorized to work in the US
• High School Diploma
• COVID Vaccination required

Qualifications

• Prior experience preferred
• Good communication skills required

Pay

$17.75 plus $5.09 Health and Welfare (up to 40 hours) benefit allowance, which may be taken as additional hourly pay resulting in an effective wage of $22.84.

Schedule

6 hours per day, Monday through Friday (9PM - 3AM). Shifts may be adjusted depending on business needs.
