Janitor

Fortis Native Group LLC is interviewing for a Janitor position supporting our new FAA contract. You will travel between 2-3 sites using your personal vehicle (mileage will be compensated). This is a 100% onsite role reporting to the project manager. Please note the FAA clearance process typically takes 4-6 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain bathrooms using specific procedures and products.
• Dust, polish, and wipe furniture.
• Empty and wash garbage bins and handle recycling procedures.
• Assist in setting up facilities for meetings, events, or classrooms.
• Properly use and maintain power equipment and tools to ensure safety.
• Secure buildings and doors when not in use.
• Follow instructions regarding chemical use and safety hazards in the workplace.

Requirements

• Must pass a stringent Federal Background Check (4-6 weeks for badging).
• Ability to perform tasks such as moving, carrying, and storing items.
• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, and reach as required for cleaning.
• Must comprehend and follow instructions.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable and willing to perform assigned daily tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

Total Compensation Package: $22.88/hour

• Base Pay: $17.79/hour
• Health & Welfare Benefit: Additional $5.09/hour (up to 40 hours per week)
• Extra Benefit: Any unused Health & Welfare funds are paid directly to you in your paycheck.
