Janitor

EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS) is a specialized division of EnerSys—a global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications. About the role

The Janitor at Bren-Tronics, part of EnerSys and manufacturer of advanced power solutions, maintains a clean facility to create a comfortable and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms daily including toilet and floor, refill supplies (paper towels, soap, tissue).
• Place cleaning supplies back in their designated area.
• Sweep floors and dust for each department daily.
• Clean kitchen areas including tables and removing expired and leftover trash from refrigerator.
• Sweep and mop hallways, entrance, and cafeteria areas daily.
• Vacuum offices weekly and check walls, vent grids for dust accumulation; clean if dirty.
• Dispose of all garbage from waste baskets in each department.
• Remove stains from surfaces such as walls, floors, and rugs using cleaning solutions.
• Pick up garbage and debris from the outside parking lot.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• 1+ year of cleaning experience.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasion.
• Must be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Pay

Compensation Range: $18.00–$20.50 per hour.
