Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility, including plant floors, offices, restrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
• Sweep, mop, remove trash, restock supplies, maintain stockrooms, and keep exterior areas free of litter, snow, and ice as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies, operating procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including setting up tables and chairs for company events.
• Assist with miscellaneous facility-related tasks and operate equipment when properly trained and authorized.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Requires sustained manual dexterity and physical activity throughout the workday.
• Must be able to move throughout the facility multiple times per day.
• Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials, including trash containers weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.

Health and Safety Responsibilities

• Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Identify and report safety hazards, near misses, accidents, injuries, and property damage.
• Properly use and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with housekeeping standards.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills

• Fluent in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to read, write, add, and subtract whole numbers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong mobility and understanding of proper lifting techniques.
• Legible handwriting and accurate recordkeeping skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Safety-conscious mindset.
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.

Pay

$18.50-$20.00 per hour (Depending on Experience).
