Janitor

About the role

A Day in the Life of a Janitor/Custodian at CW Resources:

• Start your day by checking in with your supervisor and teammates to go over the cleaning plan.
• Gather cleaning supplies (mops, brooms, vacuums, disinfectants) and load them as needed.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Take out trash and replace liners.
• Clean restrooms, refill supplies, and wipe down tables, chairs, doors, and other surfaces.
• Dust furniture, shelves, and vents.
• Wipe windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
• Conduct a final walkthrough to ensure cleanliness before ending your shift.
• Return tools and supplies to storage.

• Valid Real ID.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching to clean and maintain areas.
• Repetitive motions such as mopping, sweeping, wiping, and scrubbing.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and supplies up to 25-30 pounds regularly.
• Navigating stairs, ramps, or uneven flooring while carrying tools or supplies.
• Work primarily indoors in commercial buildings with varying temperature and lighting.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and solvents (training and PPE provided).
• Possible exposure to dust, dirt, allergens, and biohazardous materials (safety protocols and PPE in place).
• Working in confined or awkward spaces (e.g., under sinks, behind furniture).
• Noise from cleaning machinery (hearing protection provided when necessary).

Pay

$17.84/hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Day Shift).
